It is not really an angle because it is out of the attorney power weather or not his defendant is killed or not, an angle can save the life of his/her target and pick it's own target while the attorney is assigned a random person.

Defendant should know the attorney. That's how it works. Anyway, he should learn defendant's role. Helps to protect.

I like how it's a reverse lyncher that actually makes the role viable, but shouldn't it just be called "friend?" Attorney is just a specific type of Lawyer, which already exists

Make it so the defendant is guaranteed mafia. That way, he actually has a reason for defending them.

I don't know, that might make it a bit op. I mean, you must be the worst attorney ever if you get the death penalty before the guy you're defending does. But I guess he could himself for his defendant.

Make it so that the Attorney (but not his target) can win if lynched and you've got a supporter.

IMO the defendants win should not depend on the attorney living
I'm thinking of this as a reverse lyncher
the lynchee has no connection to the lyncher and doesn't understand why he's being tunneled
likewise the defendant wouldn't know why the attorney trusts them so much and is trying to protect them

Still, my point is NOT that back-stabs would happen. In fact, what I was going on about is that mafia will still occasionally do it for their own reasons

My point is that it's still very unfair for any player to get two win conditions. Specially if they would get more points as you implied.

Backstabbing fools and docs is different. Yakking the doc won't get maf more points, and lynching the fool will give you less points. Killing your attorney is just going to give you one less guy on your side and risk you not getting more points cause your attorney died. There is no goddamn reason to kill the attorney if you're vig or mafia

Why the fuck would you kill your attorney? That would just risk you getting lynched and not getting loadsapoints.
