- At night, may give a book to someone.
- During the daytime, the person with the book can give the book to someone else. At night, the person with the book cannot speak in his regular meeting, cannot see the messages in it, but may vote in his regular meetings. That person also speaks anonymously with the librarian(the librarian does not know who has the book).
- Second ability:
- Once per game, may silence everybody, so that any and all talking is done through whispers. Leaks can still happen.
- If this ability is used the book is returned to the librarian.
