- Every night, the Gambler chooses one person and one bet.
- The bet can be of three types: 'has-a', 'is-a', and 'will-die'.
- In a 'has-a' bet, the Gambler bets that the person has an item of his choice. If correct, the Gambler gets the item.
- In a 'is-a' bet, the Gambler bets that a person is a role. If correct, the person's role is revealed.
- In a 'will-die' bet, the Gambler bets that a person will die during the night or the next day. If correct, he is protected the next night.
- If any of the Gambler's bets are wrong, the Gambler dies.
- Sided with the village.
