Or what he figures out could be dependant on who the Lover or Angel is on. For instance, Lover is on Maf, Lover + Town = Hostile.

Depends on who Angel is guarding wouldn't it? Some thirds wouldn't be hostile towards Town or Mafia, like Lover and Angel. Right? So he'd have to be in setups without those two.
