At first, I looked at this as a little overpowered, but the whole 50% chance rate thing makes it a little better. I think if the report doesn't get erased that the person should be warned. Like: "Someone tried to erase your files!" All in all, brilliant idea. Plussed it

Thinking about it, the journalist could go either way. If the journa can see the targeted persons system messages it could be the admins natural enemy, which may be more interesting. But it could also just not see anything too if admin isn't strong enough already. If the journa himself is targeted, he won't get the ones from his night meeting or other system messages like receiving gifts, so both roles would hate each other. It would make for an interesting setup I think.

How would this work with a role like journalist? Not a bad idea.

I should clarify: Erasing the system messages doesn't roleblock someone like hooker, but it is like that in the sense that if you usually get a report from your night action you'll never get to see it. It may as well be as if it never happened.

However, say you get given a vest. You still have that vest but you won't know you received it, and if you get hit you won't know you got hit and think you're still safe.

The 50% chance of success is because it's somewhat overpowered if it was 100% chance. I didn't want it to be another mafia that doesn't attend meetings because the strength of this role is inherently in working with your partners to block out important information.

The message given to those without system messages could work well with journalist and alert people to the presence of the admin and who his target was.
