- If the mafia try to kill the Hider directly, the kill will fail.
- Each night, the Hider must hide behind a player of their choosing.
- If the mafia kill the player the Hider is hiding behind, both that player and the Hider die.
- If the Hider hides behind mafia, the Hider dies.
- Sided with the village.
(Think about this one carefully. When used right, it's a less powerful, more balanced Cop.)

I don't think it's common knowledge but if the survivor hides behind the mafia, he is not protected from the mafia kill. However, I agree that hiding behind mafia should kill the survivor - perhaps this tweak could be made to the existing role - I don't think this is unique enough to warrant a whole new role creation, but it's a much nicer variant of the survivor.

Yes, and it's how survivor SHOULD have originally be made. In my opinion, Survivor is one of the most useless roles on EM.
