oblivious, but then the mafia could SAY that they were turned into a villager, but really be lying, or they could make their role unseen by themselves but they know they are either a villager or a traitor so they don't know whic side to root for.. no .. thats hard.. then still with the mafia lying about it.

If a mafia role is stolen and the mafia becomes a Villager they can out the remaining maf allowing town a few quick guilties. I don't know how unbalanced it may be, depending on the role stolen and the amount of mafia- just something to take into account.
is this considered a conversion and thus blocked by shrink? and would shrinking the identity thief or the person selected both result in cancelling the thief? good idea tho, +'d
