Rogue
  • -Townsided
  • -When visited by a town role, the Rogue will absorb the powers of the visiting role.
  • -This power can only be used once.
  • -When a visiting role visits the Rogue, that visiting role will be turned blue. This is essentially like the mimic, but it’s passive, since it doesn’t visit.
  • -If more than one town visiting role visits the Rogue (cop + doc, etc), then the Rogue will randomly get one of the powers the next night and the other power the night after.
  • -Rogue appears blue to his/herself.
  • -Example: If cop investigates the Rogue, Cop will turn blue but still get the report. The rogue will become cop during the next night, but only for one night.
  • Also, shoutout to Lommik for helping to come up with this :)

To be fair and not too powerful, if two pr visits the Rogue his action should get cancelled out. This might be a good role in a set up without a doc since cop could transfer his power to the rogue thus survive. Interesting idea.

If it doesn't get all of the powers, then town essentially loses all of its PRs when it's visited by multiple ones (since visiting the Rogue turns you blue). So like, say a cop and a doc both visit the Rogue.. they both turn blue. and lets say the Rogue gets the doc role the first night.. then there's no more cop. It's not making it overpowered because its just absorbing the powers of the other roles and making them blue instead.

I agree with DropKick, the rogue shouldn't get all the powers. Either he doesn't get any or he just gets the first one to visit him, I think--but great idea! Upvoted.

A cool concept.

Sounds more like a 3rd party role to me, because they could use their power to help maf too.

Is the Rogue mafia sided? Sounds like a fun role :D.

I like it a lot, but it may be difficult to balance a setup with this kind of role. Could never tell for sure until it's been implemented.

Sounds like a cool concept to me, but my only complaint (suggestion?) would be that they sound a bit too overpowered. The point where you said if it got multiple visits it got the powers in turn, I think it'd be more fair if it just cancelled out and they didn't get a power that night because of the multiple visits.

Interesting idea, anyway, have an upboat.
