To new players: This was hit by a bug that turns role descriptions into jailer's. Funny thing though, this IS the mafia sided jailer role.

So.. mafia sided jailer?

:(

Bouncer:
-Choose one person every night
-Nobody else can visit that person that night
-Sided with the mafia

LOL YUP. And it can't be fixed either.

is it just me or did this turn into jailer?

wtf

Cool decsription.
over 15 years
Yeah, that works too, watcher isn't a "visit" role so he wouldn't be bounceable.
over 15 years
If watchers bounce, they shouldn't. Watchers don't really visit, and could nullify the power of 2 bouncers by getting both bouncers in one report if they visited each other.
over 15 years
why would someone every put two of these in a setup??? Something isn't just OP because you can conceive of a really poorly made setup in which it is op; if something can be put into a good, balanced setup (which I think this role could) it's not op.
over 15 years
The Interceptor has a weakness. 2 bouncers can prevent any investigations on each other at all. They nullify EVERY OTHER ROLE. That's OP.
over 15 years
Agree.
over 15 years
"OP right here."

It's already less powerful than an existing role, the Interceptor.
over 15 years
It's actually more of the mafia version of the superdoc - optimal use would be to first protect your fellow mafs, and then used to prevent doc from visiting the cop/vig/tracker/whatever. OP right here.
over 15 years
Yes, it would probably be drunkable, and would have priority over everything else.
over 15 years
Does this role have priority in visiting? Does drunk have ability to prevent the action?
over 15 years
Seems to be the mafia version of Jailer.

I like it, Plussed.

Very nice role idea.

I like it

"Wouldn't this mean whoever got bounced, which is really obvious, is the obvious scum? Really. "

Not really. He'd also prevent masons from masoning, gun/blacksmiths from smithing, tracker from clearing town roles, etc, in addition to WIFOMing for cop.

Really.

I like it if it is drunkable and visitable himself :D
over 15 years
Yeah I have no problem with it being drunkable. It could be a visit role (track/watchable) instead of just a choose role, too... either way.
over 15 years
I like it.
it would have to be able to be drunked, tho.
Might be a bit overpowered in some setups, but i can see how this could be used
over 15 years
basically a weaker interceptor-type role that can be worked into setups more easily
