Identity Thief
  • The Identity Thief is very similar to the disguiser but instead of stealing the identity of a dead player the Identity Thief is able to switch identities with a living target, town or mafia. The Identity Thief can use this ability once per game and when switching identities learns the role of the selected target.
  • The purpose of the identity theft is to give mafia a way to force a cc situation since atleast one of the switched players will be mafia and you're able to find out the role of one player.

Yes, the target would know they've been switched and guisetesting would be pointless because of that fact, what would happen is that both players try to towntell+scumtell on the other, there's a forced cc between the two of them and the identity thief finds out the role of the target.

Exactly. They just have to claim they've been switched, guise test their claiming original person, and it would be pointless.

Wouldn't the person switched with know who they were switched to?
