I already made it so it can't vote no one anyway. It's not a detail you normally put in a role description. I think the framing though would add an interesting dynamic for town prs. It gives the traitor conversion that one flaw that could be fatal for it.
Well, maybe, but that's kinda a drop in the bucket. I made my suggestion in part because it means you can't specifically target PRs, but also because it removes the problem of alignment switching (if its night 1, the game basically hasn't started yet so its fine) which would make it more viable for comp.
How about this for the CRC reset: on the night when he converts the traitor, the traitor will be framed and appears guilty. Perhaps this will help balance it?
Its a vote though. I think a good way to make this more of a competitive role would be to not allow "no action", forcing the Connection to choose his traitor on the first night of the game, before he can know power roles.
This is a really, really powerful version of a Yakuza. The downside to traitors is usually that the mafia does not know who they are, and traitors in turn don't know the mafia. With this the mafia knows who the traitor is, and can subtly soft to him, given that the maf knows the traitor and the town doesnt. All added up, this is roughly the equivalent of a yakuza that does not die.
