Mostly all of the civilian roles are single-role claims, so there's no real hiding except as doctor. The hookers' job is to locate both doctors as soon as possible to prevent the exchange of information. Therefore, it's vital for both doctors to hide themselves while other single-role claims come forth. Since every other role is a single-role claim, there's no shortage of possible leads even midgame.
