Equality, yes, but for how long? It revolves around n1, and if yak can successfully yak a mason or a vig, and if vig can hit a mafia, or at least a traitor. Masons have to be careful not to hit vig, though. It's hard to tell who has the advantage at times. Mafia gets the yakuza to yak for one night, and Village gets the masons who continually can convert every night. How will it all work out?
