--------------------------------------------------------------------------Roles-------------------------------------------------------------- Leader: If he dies, town will know it beyond a shadow of a doubt ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mortician: It would be wise to claim d1 100% of the time unless leader was killed ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Janitors: You serve as one-time stalkers. Use your jan power sparingly as you can only use it once. (So if you're killing a role you already know, don't use it) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stalker: Assuming your partners are alive, you NK and use your stalker visit to appear like BG ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My prediction for this setup: Start out horridly mafia sided until players figure out how to play it, then slowly move toward where all my other setups end up, 55:45 mafia sided.
My prediction for this setup: Start out horridly mafia sided, remain horridly mafia sided.
Come on, it's no reveal with ONE mort, and for the first two nights mafia gets two stalks. Mafia has the huge upperhand here. Furthermore since it's no reveal you can have the two jans cc cop or bg and have them be outted.
I wouldn't be so sure. Maxwell was convinced it would was too TOWNSIDED to comp. Plus, I tested a version with oracle instead of leader (with good players) and everyone complained that it was almost too easy for town to win.
Having the leader makes it a little more townsided, yes, but it's still not enough. Mafia has such a huge advantage. The only way mafia has less of a chance is if the leader dies n1.
We'll see how it plays out. But to be honest, almost every balanced/barely townsided setup has shifted mafia sided with the continual decline of player ability. Give it a day for the not-terrible players to figure out how to play it and see where it goes. Mafia doesn't actually have much any advantage if the playerbase could actually try to scumhunt. Remember, it's only been played nine times right now.
I hate to say it but you're gonna be disappointed. This doesn't even need a "lack of player skill" to fall maf-sided. It's inherently mafiasided and I don't see that changing. I'll even use the rest of my hearts on all alts to try to get some stats for you.
