All other reverse mafia setups are inferior.

Why is this competitive. Why. Why.

This is the fucking worst setup and I don't fucking know why it's competitive.
deletedover 14 years
It's a fun setup, but there's almost no scumhunting or anything, it's almost all luck, so it shouldn't be competitive.

vig should NEVER shoot N1. if the vig hits the stalker, the game goes "unranked" and everyone loses a heart still--without gaining points.

Already played 2 games where SomeoneAnyone owned stalker n1. Lost hearts. FUCK U SOMEONE

Grats to Riz for playing an epic fool!

I feel best strat for traitors is cause as much confusion day1, sacrifice themselves by CC'ing any powerroles, or acting scummy in general in order to shield the stalker. You can probably get away with that for a few days because you'll be thought of as obvious fool as well.

Stalker also would pick up on this ideally, and know you're not pro-town.

Here's the game I was referring to http://www.epicmafia.com/game/564893

How does tracker get the word out to Vigil?

tracker says outloud I FOUND MAFIA ___ VISITED ___ and ___!

This is just way too luck-based.

i just lost two hearts in a row in this setup because vigil shot mafia n1. how cool is that?

Tracker, if you track the Stalker. Say it in day time chat, it doesn't matter that you get lynched so long as the Masons don't mason the Stalker this setup is practically town auto-win.

...it also lets the vig know who to shoot

i just played this

the stalker just kept nk'ing and asking people to no vote so he could stalk everyone and learn the roles

was total bullshit. not a good setup for competitive at all.

@Franky: If stalker nk's every night, mason and vig are going to pwn him

to win for mafia, you pretty much have to have the masons mis-mason. It's not really possible otherwise. I've shot the tracker, lead a lynch on the vig, shot a mason, and they still had the numbers to for the NL. Even though they had masoned the fool. IMO, switch stalker for witch, or maybe fool for nilla or something. Witch would punish tracker/vig/masoning, or a nilla would at least stem mason influence, as well as avoid that *d1 lose hearts* bug.

actually maf has won most of the time i've played this setup. stats also have it fairly even.

Town always wins if no mismason occurs, thats a given, the only time mafia wins is when a mismason occurs and they succsessfully kill the vigil early

who created this didnt really know his math... -k to the setup,

Fool has no chance to win this. It absolutely SUCKS to know you can't win unless you get masoned...
about 14 years
It's a terrible roulette.

If you're fool in this setup its pretty much autolose for you unless you get masoned. With the recent changes to halving points for joint wins no one wants to joint with fool anymore...fucking terrible
