I need to write an application for a scholarship and I have a dilemma.
"it would sure help" or "it would surely help". (formal register)
Is it correct if I say "It would help a great impact on my decision making and would be extremely beneficial" or is it MANDATORY to re-write the subject "...and IT would be extremely beneficial". I know 2nd one is correct but can I write it without it?
I have never lived in a campus before though,I believe that would be the hardest part. I tend to generalize the idea though because campus life in my country is horrible.

Since it's HS their expectations probably aren't through the roof and you should just honestly write something "real". I don't think you have to theoretically suit up given the nature of the scholarship. Good luck dude.
The goals of the Institutes are: (1) to develop a commitment to transatlantic cooperation; (2) to foster relationships between American and European youth from different ethnic, religious, and national groups; and (3) to develop a cadre of youth leaders who will share their knowledge and skills with their peers through positive action.
The U.S. Embassy to Romania invites Romanian high schools to submit nominations for the 2015 Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellows Summer Institutes. Two four-week Institutes, offered in summer 2015, will accommodate up to 90 Fellows total. Each Institute, one at Wake Forest University in North Carolina and the other at Purdue University in Indiana, will be designed for 35 European students and 10 Americans, ages 16 to 18. Institute activities include discussion of global issues of common interest, leadership and media training, collaborative project development, community service, educational travel, and plans for follow-on activities. Both Institutes will take place from June 27 to July 25, 2015.
king how old are you again? I think depending on your age and what their expectation is, you should go with either edits accordingly. I agree with what Raw says though about it having to sound like something you'd say.
Although I think written English (especially formal) and social English are quite different.
I believe I am a great candidate for this scholarship because I have a strong interest in further developing my problem solving and critical thinking skills. Given my previous experience on an international project, I fully feel that I would be able to interact with foreign nationals with aplomb and would uphold the image set forth by your organization as a recipient of this scholarship.
With this scholarship, I feel that I would be able to elevate myself to new heights both personally and professionally. I would like to pursue a career in politics or economics, and this opportunity would enable me to explore and share my insights with teens, helping to broaden my horizons as well as better understand the cultural and socioeconomic climates of different countries. In closing, I think that my past experiences, current interest and future career goals are all aligned with what this scholarship can offer, and I believe it will not only be a great benefit to me as I move forward, but also one for your organization.
It's something called "Benjamin Franklin Scholarship". You basically go to the US to talk about economic and social problems of today's society, interacting with people of 16,17,18 years old from like 60 countries.
