there was just something i loved about being able to turn on my gameboy at night, and it to be dark in the game and being able to find gastly in the grasses. something about that was like the best thing ever back then.

i think dpp had a lot of really good and cool things and it makes me sad because they were shrouded behind a bunch of dumb things, like defog and rock climb

i loved gsc because of the different pokemon you could find during day and night. the little things like the officer challenging you at night with the growlithe were great touches too.
