'Killing is My Business... and Business is Good!' with 3 demos and both versions of 'These Boots' added (not sure which version of the album this was, but it had 12 tracks and was about 45 minutes long). Had to be a rereleased version but the 8 original tracks (and both versions of any track that appeared twice) weren't remastered either which was strange. Maybe it was just put together by the uploader or something

Wow I was born in 2014 and Im 1 years old now and I'm obsessed with the late 2013 music. I really can't stand my generation. Music like this make me wish I was born in 2013 so I could have enjoyed my years in 2013's bc it was such an amazing time. The fashion, the love, the music... It was a simpler time. A great time to live. My friends all listen to Nicki Minaj and 1D and I dont understand it. This is real music

thanks

the realiti album version isn't as much of a banger as the demo was.

the vocals on the demo version are so, so, so much better, idgi

yeah and i like the instrumentation a lot more on the demo. i don't get why grime has a hateboner for it

9/10 i really enjoyed it. easily and artangels are the only songs i don't care for on this, and the realiti album version isn't as much of a banger as the demo was. but i still heartily enjoyed it. it's been a very good year for music.

listened to this again. it's still good but i'm gonna downgrade it to a 7/10. some of the tracks that i was OK with last night are very blugh now. butterfly, california, and realiti are still the best parts of this album.

Need to go on a tangent here about how ashamed I am that artists like Grimes think attaching themselves to the weird and dystopian 2015 future where you have kids writing katakana for ""aesthetic"" purposes and just indulging themselves into being as abstract as possible is now the hip and cool thing to do. It's some twisted reality where going against social norms is now the norm, like a counter-culture of sorts. Grimes pretty much made a product of our times that won't last because it's trite and feels like some sort of long running joke that you're supposed to acknowledge willingly despite the joke still being awful regardless

The Mars Volta - Frances the Mute

10/10 album.

yes, it's perfect!

9/10 it's still a good album and it's still a very strong contender for AOTY. it takes a lot of risks that pay off and really it just feels like an extremely realized concept that pays off well. i really wish i could give it that extra point and put it up with GKMC but it lacks a certain essence i can't pinpoint to reach the status of a favorite. i still greatly enjoy the RNB and Funk aspects of it and am glad to see that it got the praise it deserves.
