Recently I've been enjoying making tip and advice threads rather than flat out mentoring through the mentoring system since I don't have the time for that and am not really interested in it anymore. Also, I can help more users this way while investing less of my time, I believe. I know many users have questions which cannot directly be answered, or would take some time to answer, so I was thinking for an easy way to answer questions while also having some fun, and I thought "why not do an audio file podcast style?" I'd have fun doing it and I'm sure auditory answers would provide a different feel for people who learn better that way.
So what I'm going to do is answer five mafia or site related questions a week, along with some other fun segments and maybe some giveaways, in audio format. I'll try answering them as in-depth as possible and just be honest about everything. Audio clips of questions from the users asking them would be cool because then I could use them in the podcast. Or if you want, you can also PM me a question (on either Giga13 or Giga) if you want it to be anonymous, or you can post a question in this thread if you want. I would type a script of the questions and answers out for people to read after if my voice was unclear at some point, and also so that people don't have to look for a certain point in the file if they want to re-listen to something.
What do you think. I have free time and it would probably be a 20-30 minute thing maximum, so I think that it would be relatively easy, productive for people who ask the questions, and fun as well.
Even if you don't think you would benefit from this, do you think it would be useful for other players who are interested? This is not just limited to Main Lobby by any means. Sandbox is welcome as well. I might have different co-hosts each week, this is a good idea that I will think about (provided this garners enough interest, again)! I would PM people when I'd like them to co-host or do a section/segment.
