I think you're mixing up caring about someone and caring about their perception of you.


everyone is a big ball of insecurities. you're probably never going to mean anything to anyone unless you're propping them up on some of those insecurities. likewise, people will find it harder to be your friend unless there's a place for them in your life, something they can give you.
