Welcome to Forum mafia 18 Pick Your Power edition! (With a Club theme)

I. The Schedule:

72 Hour Days 24 Hour Nights

  • If you don't submit actions by the deadline I will consider you taking no action.

II The Set Up:

Some Basic details:

  • The Mafia to Town Ratio is 3:11
  • Mafia have DayTalk

The set up itself:

  • You will first get an Alignment pm Town or Mafia and you're alignment can not change

You will win when all threats to the town are eliminated.

Each night, one of you or your partners may perform the factional kill. You may kill and perform your role action during the same night.

"I knew some people would try and rebel against this lovely club don't worry though I'm not one to judge just don't get caught too early eh?"

To confirm that you know your alignment, you must send me a number for the draft along with what you're alignment is

The draft will then start

The lowest unique number will draft first, followed by the next unique numbers in lowest > highest order, then the Highest duplicate numbers > Lowest duplicates.

If you pick a slot that someone higher in the draft then you picked you will be vanilla/goon

That line makes me feel extremely uneasy. It feels really reactive, like you're waiting for other people to make the decision about who is scummiest/a liability for you.


Honestly i am 100% willing to go along with a bw as long as someone is doing those 2 things. Don't look at it as me waiting on other people to lead for me, instead look at it more as me wanting something to get accomplished. I'm gonna try to vote my fos before the end of today and i advice the people who haven't been talking to start.

Okay, so I was gonna quote some stuff, but it all went away suddenly went I clicked another page and I felt demotivated...

Anyway, early on, Gerry said something along the lines of wanting doctor to be on him because of all the townreads, and I thought that was towny of him, since he was getting wary about townreads + wary about him dying the next day

This townread shifted because a lot of the time I felt Gerry wasn't doing anything, he just was joking around, and I perceived him as deflecting by saying stuff like "you were wrong lasts game :^)". He wasn't really explaining his scumreads at all.

But, I'm uncertain now, because I really felt Gerry went the extra mile with what he did. He made his intent clear and his reads a lot clearer, which is why I was having trouble seeing him as town earlier on.

So, I think I change my mind about wanting to lynch him, actually I think he might be higher up on my town list right now.

The read on you gerry had some truth to it. It was more of a concern that you might fall into the same situation you did with shrub last game where you tunnel them for fosing you and thats why i said i would try to buddy you as mafia. Also I actually do think you are town because you saw something that i saw too. Pretty much what im gonna focus more on rn is getting townreads than scumreads because alot of people are not contributing. With that being said Himiko and shrub i think are solid townreads. With gerry in 3rd place for his read comments. I thought chuchu started genuinely but apparently I might be mistaken so ill probably reread it. If you guys are confused by my reads in any way ill explain in more detail. Tbh, I didn't really like shear's first post since it was more a recount than actual read development, and the actual reads didn't feel particularly genuine but then the development of the scumread on mine is really logical and I think hard to just make up so I would definitely mark her as town right now.

Nice walls of text to read. I dont agree with your slight scumread on me, I feel like it might be a slight omgus more than anything, but my posts have been reasonably insightful. Some of it is gut feeling, but I think all the reads I've outed have made sense. I thought you were scummy because I thought the balance of your game was way off, and nearly everything you said was filler up to the point I said I thought you were possible scum and I dont think your reads afterwards were any better, and I agree my vote was more of a gut feeling knowing I scumread you before and after not finding any content that I could townread you from, I was happy with that vote.

Seemed like trying to copy what was said previously. (Though I know she likes cats a lot so it could be genuine lol) I would like to see more posts from her. She also got really defensive when I pointed out something small like how it seemed like she was talking to town and not being part of town.

9. Sports: Okay so, he's literally done nothing but just say he was watching. And openly said he was lurking. I would like to see content out of him, because the fact that he's here and not busy, means he actually should be reading SOMETHING. So, I would appreciate some reads out of him.

10. Chuchu: I really didn't like his opening. But, I kinda liked the reaction test he had with the granny thing. I will give him credit, it sounded really natural. So, I kinda moved him up a bit, but not much. I want to see him talk more and more of his reads, and where his head is at right now.

Leaning slightly toward the scummy side.

11. Hedger: I don't know what it is, but I felt like every post he had, had lots of word, but didn't really have a lot of content in them. Like..

Regardless, I've only skimmed, but I dont think I've picked up too much so far. Gerry's been a little off I've felt when he started to not troll so I'd probably put a slight scumread there atm. I've got a few townreads so far but apart from that, I think matt and N1ed's interactions are pretty off, I wouldn't say both are scum, but I think one may very well be scum. Most of the reasons they've put forward are pretty ordinary at best.


Yes, those reads are fine, but HOW was I off, and why didn't he explain it. Yes you have townreads, but why not name them. HOW do you have townreads (plural) if you've only skimmed just small things in all this that didn't add up in his post when you break it down.

I am not quite sure how to take that. The fact that he tried to make a picture out of it, makes me want to believe him though. I would like to see him post more, and see some more of his actual reads.

A Little Worrisome

8. Dorzel: Well.. Dorzel is being.. Dorzel.. I always seem to scumread him. I don't know what it is. He's just a naturally scummy person. I really didn't like his vote on Shrub at that moment. But, he kinda redeemed himself with this.

matt - Obviously the other person I was thinking who would be higher on. I'll try and quote a few lines I find townie from him, but I mostly want to put him here just for his number theory. The fact that mafia would know their partners before they picked their numbers, actually makes it unlikely for a lot of people to be teamed. I don't think they'd pick similar numbers. I'm sure one went high, one went low and one went near the middle. (tried to find some townie lines, but idk. I don't see any i'm 100% confident on. so thats why you stay at this rank.)

5. N1ed - Ah, yes. The dreaded null reads. He's been posting a lot of content, but it's mostly been kinda rambling at times. I really don't know what yo make of it. I know he does this as town, but he also did it a lot when he was mafia too. Like he tried to talk even more as mafia, with little substance and more just keep talking. But, I can't say he's been scummy so far, so here will have to do

6. PonyLove - She hasn't participated much at all, but I know she is busy, so I will give her lenience right now. She also can towntell when given the chance, so I will give her more time. I probably won't be lynching her today.

2. Himiko - I think she's been trying to scumhunt in her own way, even when people try to break down her reads, she seemed to be offended because it felt 'unjust' that they not be heard and taken seriously, because she wants to help town win.

Honestly, I know Minecraft comes off as scummy a lot, but that doesn't mean they're definitely town every game when they are scummy. I thought a lot about it, and I have yet to see anything that made me feel otherwise.

Leaning kinda town for reasons:

3. Shrub- I went back and forth for a bit to try and determine who would be higher. But, i'll go with shrub for now. I liked one line which I will not quote for reasons, but he had a good line that is really hard for scum to say at an early point in the game. But, besides that he has been voting just about everyone and trying to clear himself, so I can't fully put him higher.

I wont be benefiting town with my lines or reads i will be benefiting town by being tred and not lynched on lylo.
