Hello and Welcome to Cycle 1 of EM's Next Top Profile! This will be a mixture of a profile contest and a social game.

Eviction:

nicrowy was eliminated! even though cody failed to submit a profile on time, the jury vote saved him with a 4 cody 1 mindful 1 cozy vote. with one jury vote being nulled for not submitting on time. the vote from em went to mindful because cody had already been given the jury vote.

Elimination Challenge:

The Final challenge is a 2 parter. For the first, each of the top 3 were given a redemption theme that they didn't do well on from the course of the competition to do again. For the second part we gave them an open concept where they were allowed to do whatever they wanted.

i dont think it's wholly about a couple, rather matching. romantic implications can be used but i don't believe it's completely necessary to center the whole profile around it. it's cute but you can match with someone from a stylistic standpoint instead of trying to make an overt statement with cutesy romantic .gifs in relation to your theme

I think having at least one strong element mimicked in both profiles helps emphasize the "couples" challenge and ties together both profiles, while still maintaining individuality through other differences.

One of the biggest things I looked for when scoring was seeing how well two profiles complimented each other. There were a few pairs whom I could never guess they were a couple, and IMO those people missed the mark entirely on the challenge.
