Alright pretty simple game rules.

5 players

There are 2 possible setups

  • a) 4 Blues and 1 Maf
  • b) 5 Blues

After 2 week's time (or earlier), the town must decide to lynch someone or no-lynch.

If it's the setup with no maf and town no-lynch then everyone wins. If it's the setup with 1 maf then town have to lynch that person. there is no day 2

It takes 4 votes to lynch. At the end of 2 weeks, majority votes goes through.

Sample Role PM:

  • Your role is Vanilla Townie, you are sided with the Town.
  • Your role is Mafia Goon, you are sided with the Mafia.

Rules:

All the usual stuff for forum mafia - don't cheat/troll/OGI etc. Votes must be made in the format Vote: Playername. Bolding is done using the tags [b][/b].

Note: i'm flipping a coin to decide the setup. if it's the setup with a maf then i'll use RNG to decide who the maf is

I think the odds of setup a should be 5 times more than setup b or else it's always optimal for town to nl. I think you should use rng to generate a number between 1 to 6, if 6 go with setup b otherwise go with setup a

well if you did you'd know that even day start setups with PRs/mechanics begin with "nothing to go on" and as the content level rises people start from preliminary weak reads to getting stronger reads as time passes

You don't need cops/PRs to scumhunt, all you need is context and applying pressure / rxn tests to see how players react or how their tone is.

With no mechanics involved, if present, mafia has no reason to do anything for which they'd be scumread. I think it's going to be a random lynch.
