I don't really follow philosophy too much (though I'll admit--the subject seems alluring!) though in practice I suppose I'm a hedonist. That said, I really haven't given much thought to what I want out of life, which is probably the closest thing to "meaning" I could think of when it comes to life.
- dont treat urself like a victim (generally, you're not actually a victim and people who claim victim-status their entire lives will get NOTHING done) -- your suffering isn't real.
- recursive loop for self-improvement
- try not to get discouraged. be self-reassuring. verbally tell yourself you can do stuff instead of shying away from stuff
- fake it til u make it. cheesy example but i think donald trump is a good example in that u can fake being something and eventually you'll become it.

i like the sort of simplicity of the ten commandments. tbh i am fairly warring at heart. i'll stick up for the little guy and whatever, and i can go about it in ways that don't hurt anyone, just being funny and whatever, that give a little to everyone. but in the end i'll get mine. i mean i am more or less an animal, and embrace it lol.
i was walking home from the gym today tho, and i'm a pretty intimidating-looking dude, sort of dude people will cross the road not to walk past, sort of dude you never look into their eyes, you know? lol. but there was this bunch of kids walking up past me, like, little scumbags, all around 10 years old. and this little sht up the front sees me, and like, squares up, struts past like a real little gangster, meeting my eyes no problem, doesn't give a fck lol.
and then he'd passed and i just laughed my a-ss off. i don't know what it was. there's an inherent tension there, and that was sort of, it alleviated it, i wasn't ever going to do anything to a little kid, wouldn't even pretend to. and it felt just good to laugh about it. and then remember that everyone was a little kid once. sit down and watch kids with all their wonder and awe. and we don't much change, just the world pits us against each other. i mean i don't really know what i'm trying to say here. just don't be too much of a b*stard. lol.
