Nintendo Switch sucks

Everyone is saying this. The controller sucks, the battery life is probably gonna suck, and it can't really compete with the 3DS or whatever for handheld use. I'm not trying to be a console warrior or shill or anything, but as an aesthetician and a gamer, I feel it necessary to have a thread made just for people to rant about this lame follow up to two lame systems. The corporate stock dropped a shitton after their great unveil... let's see why, a story told in four images

This one actually looks kinda okay. But it's just another Gamecube controller and older peripherals do this better.

This one was okay, but...

(everyone knows the Wii classic controller was garbage.)

Now we have another Gamecube controller, except it's now a piece of trash, probably the least ergonomic controller since the Dreamcast or the old XBOX HUEG controllers like 15 years ago. No thanks. Retro in the wrong way. This doesn't look like it'd be very good unless you were on the go.

This is how they expect you to play it on the bus or whatever. There's a reason why the DS has 2 screens. This one can't fit in your pocket. It looks heavy and easy to drop. The "Switch wide" is just like a PSP after it ate a hundred Big Macs. Seriously, what problem is this supposed to solved? Whereas the last controller is questionable, this one is stupid and I know you think so too.

And... what the is this one supposed to be? Goddamn, this one looks like a to use. They had the last one and made it worse. I guess that's why it's called the Switch, you can switch between 3 controllers any time you want. I think the "Switch micro" is supposed to be the one you give to your little brother or a friend when they annoy you, so that they get frustrated playing with the controller, and leave you alone.

Worse than a Wii-mote. probably just as bad as one of these

I give this console a D. The Nintendo Switch is worse than the WiiU. I'll just stick with my 3DS if I want to play Nintendo

The nice thing about the wii is that it's easy to mod it to emulate games or w/e

the 3ds is also relatively easy to mod and a modded 3ds is probably gods greatest gift to mankind

consider this: you can just buy a pro controller and play good nintendo games on your television! i don't know how i feel about the gimmicks, personally i agree that i'd stick to the 3ds for portable gaming (which i rarely take out of the house anyway) but the gimmicks are there for anyone who wants them. i have a wii u and i find the touchscreen controller somewhat uncomfortable and the touch screen gimmick not all that fun, so to just have something that could easily qualify as a traditional system with hopefully a lot more fun games being developed for it than the sparse amount for the wii u (granted the good ones are very good) should be enough. and out of the box multiplayer isn't too bad tbh!
