Greetings everyone!
It's time to give new announcements about this project.
Admitedlly I haven't been working much on it yet, but I have been planning it.
For starters, I'm sure some people will disagree, but the decision I have made (and surprisingly, majorly approved in the poll I made) is to make SandboxRonpa a Videogame.
Now, I have mentioned that the videogame won't be exactly like Danganronpa, since that would take a lot more work and time, and even programming skills I don't have, but I'll try to make it similar enough.
To make the game a bit more complete since there are things that I will have to take out, I will be adding some other kind of puzzles. Think of Corpse Party or Yume Nikki, which are horror games made with Rpg Maker, which were basically games in which you had to walk around and open your way to go on. Don't really know how to explain it. Look up a playthrough of Corpse Party if you never seen it.
Obviously, the Trials will happen. The main part of the trials are easy to do, and I'll just have to get my way around some of the secondary minigames, or come up with my own. Shouldn't be that hard.
Basically, what I want to say is that main focus of the game will be the plot and the trials. But since the trials probably won't come out as neat as the actual Danganronpa games, I will be adding some other stuff to complete it.
The game will be made with Rpg Maker MV. And it will be released in an episodic way, think of TellTale games, except the time we'll take between episodes will probably be longer since I'm not a professional, nor I can spend a damn lot of time on it, my priority is still my real life.
Moving on. I mentioned that I might need people helping me out to make the project.
The first person that step up to this was em user Fred, basically when I /just/ had made the post. He will be helping me out with some things of the plot, specially the murder mystery parts.
For now, he is the only person on the team other than me. Here are other things that I may need.
-Artists. Specially willing to draw some gore, but even if you don't draw gore, it helps. I'd love for the game to include CGs.
-People that know how to use Rpg Maker and have access to RPG Maker MV specifically. Specially people that can do good maps, since that's my worst part when making RPG maker projects. Even if you aren't a good mapper, you can still help out, tho.
-People that help me out with the plot. Must be people that have played the Danganronpa games, both of the main ones if possible. Most of the plot will be on my account, but it'd be good to have people to discuss it with and help me out in some things as well.
English Corrector. As a lot of you know by now, English is not my primary language, and as such I make some (maybe a lot) of mistakes here and there. It would be nice if someone could help me out and correct my mistakes.
-Music Composer/Remixer. Not really that needed, since I have a good amount of free-to-use songs, but it would still be cool to have some original.
-Testers. Eventually, when the game is in an almost ready to release status, I will need people to test it out. Be warned, testing is /NOT/ the same as playing the game. When you are a tester you have to try to /break/ the game and /exploit/ bugs, glitches, etc so that we can try to solve them before releasing the game.
