michael fassbender is slated to play not one, but two different androids (david & walter). i am way too excited.

i don't have much faith in blomkamp anymore after the debacle that was chappie. if we're going to get an installment directed by him it's going to lean more towards sci-fi action a la "aliens" than horror, for sure.

there is also a 5th alien coming out directed by blomkamp but production start date is unknown

The film stars Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, and Guy Pearce, returning in their roles from Prometheus, with newcomers Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, and Billy Crudup. The film is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2017.

I think it is the continuation of Prometheus.
