I think we'll have to agree to disagree there. I believe being a birthmother is about a lot more than just incubating a baby for nine months. Women die from complications of pregnancy and/or childbirth, even without problems being seen in the past. It can cause lifelong physical changes, and the emotional toll can also wreck and take lives. For some women, especially if in higher education, children are on the back burner. Pregnancy side effects can affect their study and work that could prevent them from success. I believe in a pregnancy women are on their own. No one knows best but them and if they decide that they cannot have their baby within the legal time limit.

Most women who have abortions are not s,luts who don't care if they get pregnant. They are people who have their life planned out and can not give away their body for nine months. Personally, I do not believe I would ever have an abortion except for in reasons that you have stated, but I see why women do, and think that taking the option away from them is only going to result in immoral, inhumane, and unhealthy practices.

What I'm saying is that we already have a problem with ALIVE children not having homes because their parents are not financially stable enough, don't want them, etc. In order to prevent that number from rising I just feel it should be each persons choice to whether they want to keep the fetus inside of them or not.

That's not to say I think people should abuse it. It's something that should be regulated. You shouldn't be able to get it done 5+ times, that's just f*cked.

Clearly the best option is abstaining or using precautions but the human race is dumb!

maybe if we're going to force people to go thru with the pregnancy and give the baby up for adoption we should improve the sh*t tier foster care system and offer better mental health services to parents that have had to go thru giving away their child
