We talked once about attraction; I said that if a person was a neet the other person would have trouble growing intimate affection for them. You opposed this by stating "what does being a neet have to do with love" or to something of that sort. Which is fair, why does being a neet factor into "love" and whether you feel it for an individual or not.
Since then I've talked about this with others, the best answer I heard was that someone will find it hard to like a neet not because they are a neet but because what them being a neet indirectly says about them. Oppose to a successful entrepreneur or something.
So while it's true like you originally said that being a neet shouldn't directly factor into loving someone, being a neet says other things(possibly negative) about them that may come off unattractive.
I liked this conversation, probably because there's so many neets online. lol And I guess seeing others definitions of love can be thought provoking.
