Arthur's knights are victorious...for now. Assassin to pick out Merlin to allow evil to still win.

If you are on the team and the mission is a go, you will send the pass or fail slip by private messaging me.

Rule Changes:

You're allowed to switch your accept/reject if no majority has been reached yet. (As with The Resistance 2)
The Team Leader has the option of rejecting their own mission. 6 accepts are now needed for a mission to proceed.

Finally, you are always free to message me your thoughts on what you think is going on, reads, etc. Doesn't matter if you're a player or a spectator.

Yo I haven't been checking this thread because of midterms this week, sorry I haven't been participating in it much

Also I would like Alice to clarify again why she sr's me before I accept the mission (the same deal I gave to matt for the 1st mission) because I think I missed that way deep into this thread

I can assure you all I'm town but people scumreading me out of nowhere like what matt and alice did was odd even if I consider the fact matt does the same thing to me every mafia game

I'll check some past posts later whenever im free this week

I just took a nap so my logic is weird, but I think town can potentially win right here if we are lucky.

The town has exactly two roles as opposed to the four evil ones. Merlin cannot claim. However, Percival is in a unique position to clear himself if he claims.

The next three missions require four townies to win the game. This means that if we pick four towns here, town wins the game.

Percival should claim his/her role and lead, and choose the team of 4. If (s)he picks 4 town correctly for this mission, town wins the mission part of the game.

I am more confident in merlin remaining hidden than us pointing fingers at each other with no clear
direction. Even if Percival gets ccs, that's the
equivalent of sending two people on a mission with one fail slip almost for free.

Unless Percival has said something that might expose Merlin, Percival should claim and save the town.. Percival must be careful not to slip, but I think it would be more helpful for them to be public than harmful.

Sorry for the mini-essay, but that's the epiphany I had after waking up.

right now I really really feel like we should do this unless anyone (otherscott?) has objections (the rules don't mention hardclaiming, but it could still be illegal)

I scumread matt pretty bad, so I’m going to reject if you add matt to it.

I know its risky adding Arisuu, but we have to start somewhere. Its equally risky as adding people like Highspace. I definitely agree with Spade’s read on him. His attitude in this game is seriously awful.

Honestly, knowing LineLiar and his history. He is extremely well known to be a lurker. He got 3 strikes in EMBB. He failed to show up like 6-8 times in vivor madness forum game. I dont know why he bother signing up for this, but its almost impossible to read lineliar until he make more posts.

If you all understand that Lineliar will lurk as town and scum, i suggest you to reread him and try your best to determine if he is mafia or town.

Quite similar to mine except I'd replace Mark with Pod.

The amount of fails will be amusing. If there are some passes, then that will stir a few tr's up.

yeah I have a conceit that people propose teams full of srs lol

particularly if the next three people are all perceived as scummy it would be nice to see what teams they would come up with in that case

I partly like pod's team btw I'm not so sure anymore about Alice as I've stated like a day ago. I think Spade & Pod are town. I feel like this mission could potentially give us well-needed answers but it would be a huge risk and going 0-2 wouldn't be gr8

so as HS said @next leaders pls say who u r thinking of putting on a mission

and ill try to contribute more bc i dont want to be seen as a lurker

Also, to everyone, in case I didn't make it clear, I'll mention my reasons for suspicion on the peeps I scum read.

The reason I find Nadine suspicious is because their only scum suspect is Matt. Yet, they don't give a clear reason why, except for saying Matt 'slipped'.

You guys might think that's not enough to suspect them however; think about it. For the evil to win, they only need at least 1 fail (excluding Mission 4).

To me, what it seems like Nadine is doing is making themself look clear by attacking the universal scapegoat Matt.

To the scummy people, Matt, the scapegoat's alignment doesn't matter because they think, as long they attack Matt for whatever reason, they'll look like they're contributing towards helping town.

Because they're seemingly 'contributing', people will like to put those kind of players on their team. Meaning, the evil get to slide in their fail and eventually, win by gaining the town's trust.

Of course, the voting process is a little more complex because the question of "Who did the fail come from?" arises. But that is why there are 4 evil peeps instead of 1 who might or might not use different strategies.

To me, Nadine is the most guilty of using the strategy I specified.

Line is the least guilty of this but that's because they're not contributing at all.

High's purpose looks like to spread mass confusion.

That question bugs me a lot because it seems to me that High feels like it's alright to bandwagon vote here (aka. I don't care who is accused as long as I get put in the team).

Lelmoo is borderline lurking/contributing so they're in my grey area.

Ari and Mark are just messy as I said before.

The rest of the peeps are leaning towards town reads for me.

And that concludes that :D
