i think love is the ultimate goal of mankind, and is the reason why we're all here. not just romantic love, but a love for all things, including oneself. it's the only way we can truly fill the void of separateness. we can pretend to fill it with houses and jobs and sex and money but this will always come up short compared to benevolence. it's only until we can love that we are truly at peace with ourselves and the universe. how one would go about achieving such a lofty goal is beyond the scope of this post, but i believe love is an art to be practiced, a skill like an artist and his painting. only through direct, focused practice can we ever attempt to build this skill and become whole people.
i am still locked in a state of cynicism and bitterness for now, but i'm trying to work on it day by day, but by GOD it's gonna take some serious friggin' effort to be able to love a few of the nutjobs that roam around this place. maybe one day.
dont make me post the video of you being racist again fatass

hmm. well, for religion i used to believe that it was merely used as a crutch by weak and unintelligent people as an artificial means of assurance - follow these rules, believe in this and that and you'll be guaranteed a life of eternal bliss. an intellectually dishonest way of going through life. i mean, i still believe that, just that it's perfectly fine to do so, and it doesn't make somebody inferior. we all believe in things and employ habits to ease the suffering and banality of life - things that make us happier, better people. if believing in God directly translates to living a more fulfilling life, then it'd be unfair to ostracize/discriminate them for this view.
the problems arise, of course, when religious fanatics start prohibiting the rights of those who practice behaviour that go against the religion, e.g gay and abortion rights, and more extreme acts of religious terrorism. this is why i go back and forth on if religion is really needed, or if we can substitute it for methods that don't also bring harm to vast numbers of people. if we can appreciate each moment as it comes and live in the present, if we can promote love around every being out of duty to the world rather than god... alas.
religion was always bound to exist in the world, and i don't think we'll see it stamped out of existence for a long time. so WHATEVER
What is your opinion on religion, love, war, and politics?

fashionably nihilistic, yet zany and quirky, with just the right amount of spunk and grit. one word of advice however - try to model yourself a little more like me and you might just find yourself in the big leagues.
ths history books basically just say white people came here, gave maori people guns, and cause they were irresponsible the british were like "you should join the crown" and the maori were like "yea if u dont take our land" and they were like "haha yeah" and now they're like "sorry didnt mean to take the land it was a translation error haha"

what do u think about the NZ election
no offence intended pippin, but i really don't think there's a more poisonously boring topic of discussion than whatever goes on in new zealand. their history books are probably bootleg versions of whatever happened in australia, who of course only matter because of the british empire. again, no offence
