Suppose I'll do a thread for my own stuff when i get bored and feel like posting something. Probably anime/sports/music stuff plus anything else i feel like posting and probably pokemon ultra sun/moon updates once the game releases.

Hmm, haven't used this thread in a while. Been forcing myself through a few animes.
Just finished Shiki, some mixed feelings over it. On one hand, I love it, I love Sunako and I like the moral conflicts but that being said, it was pretty slow to start, pretty predictable and just kinda unrealistic how stupid everyone is so kinda mixed feelings. Definitely still worth watching though. Rating 8.3/10.
Also watched Kakegurui, a gambling anime with an insane MC. The music and art is nice and I think in a 12 episode anime, the overall plot is interesting enough to keep watching. The episodes itself I find lacking though. There's just not enough depth to the games or strategies which I loved about Kaiji but just don't feel that same excitement about this anime. Rating: 7.2/10
Gakkougurashi! was the other anime I watched. Thought it'd be similar to Higurashi but unfortunately just doesn't have that same serious feel. On one hand I appreciate the idea of trying to keep up the facade that nothing is wrong for the benefit of Yuki but it just seems a little too stupid in the situation. What the anime does well, it does really well but unfortunately just lacks a great plot and the ending works, I guess but idk how I feel about it. Rating: 7/10
Also obviously been watching HxH and nearly finished that. Only 8 eps to go, and would definitely recommend that to everyone. Too lazy to review but 10/10 anime.
Not sure what to watch after this. Will probably try out Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom but dunno what else I want to watch for that. I want a nice horror anime but dunno if there's many good ones
was a huge effort but finally got through all three Grisaia vn's and must say it was definitely worth the effort.
The series does have its downfalls mainly in the first vn which has just a shitload of slice of life content as part of the common route. It's enjoyable for the most part but really poorly paced imo and I do wish some of it was cut altogether but anyway, once you get through that common route of the first game, it's definitely a great series.
The second and third are incredible though and despite the 100+ hours of reading time that this took me to get through (I really have no idea how long it took but felt like I was reading 6 hours a night sometimes and still took me months to get through the whole series), I feel like it was well worth it.
I was planning on doing some sort of review but I can't really be bothered or anything but would give the series a solid 8.5/10 with the pacing overall and one character who really got on my nerves bringing that rating down a bit.
grubbin is our first casualty. I had to sacrifice him in order to beat a litten and nicole survived the battle on 1hp. Maybe more grinding will be in order from now on.
okay I'm going to do a nuzlocke I think. I'll probably spend a bit of time soft resetting for a shiny starter then give up if I'm not able to get one pretty early on. anybody who wants to be a pokemon let me know and any preference over type of pokemon if you have any. Will be starting out with Rowlet this time around
Haven't made it to post game yet so I can't say myself but I really do hope it's decent. From what my other friend told me about the wormholes those seem to be everything I hate about the newer pokemon games so I'm not very optimistic unfortunately.
okay just got ultra sun. now i'm starting to wonder why I bothered getting it but hopefully it's worth it. Not sure if I should nuzlocke or what to do.
World Cup Qualifiers wrapping up with the Australia/Honduras game tonight and New Zealand/Peru tomorrow. Should be an easy win for Australia but they've played pretty poorly for the whole campaign so honestly wouldn't be surprised with a sloppy 1-0 win or something like that.
Also Denmark through with a pretty incredible hattrick from Eriksen, all three goals really high quality finishes from around the edge of the area. And given the importance of the match, really impressive, although I lol at the Irish defence. That third goal <3
