hi. this is an extension of the fan favourite thread "My Thread". obviously as you can see from the title it is dedicated to my musicposting. hopefully this will motivate me to listen to music more critically than i already do as well as curate playlists and stuff i dont know.

anyway i have very good taste and this is one of the few things im passionate about to distract me from the fact im dead inside so no hate x

also feel free to also discuss music and your own personal taste on this thread

stranger is the same as any yung lean project in that the more you listen to it the better it gets, agony is one of the best tracks on there, yellowman, red bottom sky, muddy sea, silver arrows and maybe hunting my own skin are other standouts

stranger isnt on my top 25 but it would definitely be up there in a top 50. im impatient so i dont know if i want to increase it to 50 or not, im having a hard time choosing which albums to include and which ones to get rid of in the 25 list

however red bottom sky is on my top 50 singles list. idk where yet the order isnt finalised in the slightest

i actually am unsure if i can even choose 10 albums and 10 eps, im trying to work on this list and so many good releases came out this year (especially eps oh my god finalising this list is a stressful experience)

Forest Swords - Compassion

im super picky when it comes to ratings and only like 40 are ones i'd consider 8/10 and higher so its a good starting point

I listened to ~140 2017 releases so tbh I rarely feel comfy making a list that’s less than 50 albums

did this quickly because im working double time to finalise my top 10 albums of 2017 list and go back and visit all the ones i missed, this one is easily in the top 20. ugh i wish i could make a top 15-20 list instead because this was such a great year for music but alas i need to try and keep it simple
