R u liking their new shiiit? Opinions on Culture, Without Warning, Huncho Jack.. And Culture 2 (so far)
I hear Culture 2 drops next month
Culture 2: First of all I'll start with the album cover. Its shows Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset under roses/doves dressed in all black. I think this is fitting because if you go into this album expecting to hear some Back to the Bando, dabbin street shiit Migo Style...this album isn't for you. This album is made on mainstream appeal, this is music not just street shiiit., and builds off Culture 1. Sadly, it shares the same issues I have with the first Culture. A lack of clear direction appears apparent to me, it seems as if the album is infighting between hard beats and slow melodies. That being said, I feel like if this was a 12-15 track album..It would most certainly be a 10/10 album. Quavo should have left Huncho in Huncho or this should have been a double album. THIS ALBUM IS A MARATHON and a sprint to the finish,..They all showed growth as artists..esp Takeoff and Quavo show a more personal approach towards the end of the album. This album is an easy listen. My favorite tracks: Work Hard, Walk it talk it, White sand, Open it up, Flooded. 8.5/10
Culture II with 24 songs is just unnecessary. MotorSport is the only good song in my opinion in that album. Everything else is just boring and repetitive :/ I like Culture I tho lol

Just checked out the track list and am upset theres no Young Thug or Peewee Longway... Ill prob check it out tomarrow..100 minutes/24 tracks is guud tho.
By flop I mean it peaked at number 4 on the US chart and that is the only chart it performed well in. Plus Quavo was only in one song in Without Warning and in my opinion he is probably the best out of Migos. Migos only reach a decent standard when they all combine and Bad and Boujee is alright because Lil Uzi Vert adds some more flavour to the song.
Without Warning had Quavo on a few songs, and I can see why you say the lyrics arn't good. Comparatively to other artist of the same genre they are above average i'd say, and you lost me on saying they have no flow on that album...FLOP? hell nah bro its a cover to cover banger.
Migos r so bad the only good song is Walk it Talk it bc Drake and Bad and Boujee isn't even that good. Other songs r to bad to even comprehent and without warning was a total flop everywhere which didn't even include Quavo or Takeoff. Just because Metro Boomin' was good on the album doesn't mean every one else was because flawless productions to not make up for bad lyrics and flow.
I think Without Warning is the most complete album. The tone amd content of the lyrics fit the production well, and the album flows well from cover to cover. The album could have been longer and seems to end abruptly. Ric Flair Drip and Nightmare are my fav tracks. Good replay value. 7/10
Huncho Jack is a good attempt to show diversity. Its kinda sing songy,and the has amazing production. It lacks fluidity and seems to jump from flow to flow which really makes it a hard listen. Still a good album and is a solid project. The styles of Travis Scott and Quavo just dont mesh well. Has some really great songs which improves its replay value. My favs are Go, Black & Chinese, and Dubai Shiiit. 6/10
Culture I feel was an attempt to get more mainstream appeal. Its a good album but lacks fluidity. The styles of all three of them mesh really well, but some of the production didnt match their style. T- and Bad & bougee r best tracks. 6/10
I feel like Culture 2 (from the tracks avaible thus far kinda has migos going back to their roots. Too earily for a review but Deadz and Scottie too Hotty are fire.. As well as the track wit Cardi and Nicki ?/10
