embarrassing moment

today during the awards ceremony at school... i was late and when i went i quietly sat in the back so i didnt interrupt. My team went up for their trophy and i got the award for "most dedicated" and since i wasnt there my coach made a joke and looked at my ex in the audience and said "hey john have you seen Holden??" it was so embarrassing and he looked angry because we broke up 6 months ago

when i was 13 i was a really awkward scene kid who thought wearing raccoon eye makeup was the way to go despite hating attention, so i went to the grocery store and the clerk knew i was a regular (with my mom) and so he asked me while i was w/ my cousin where my mom was, my only reply was "shes..................shes gay" and thankfully he laughed but after that moment i have never been the same
