typically i put loads of ketchup on burgers, and i put a lot of spices on steak. sorry for not making that clear. and admit it, ketchup would be okay on steak too.
the thing is in restaurants they do undercook it so they can cook it longer if it's too rare for your tastes. chef's med rare usually borders on too rare
For some reason I can't straight-up eat steak or hamburgers, so I gotta put a lot of ketchkup everywhere, or I gotta add lots of spices.

When I'm walking in the countryside and come across a cow we look into one another's eyes with the mutual recognition of sentience, a moment of two lives sharing the experience of living on a rock hurtling through space. I reach my hand out to pat the cows head, gaining a good enough grip to jump on its back, straddling its neck until I find that juicy vein I can sink my teeth into. I strike, and suck the blood from its neck.. I feel it becoming weaker, and myself stronger. Until an elderly lady walking her dog startles me and I sprint across the field like REEEEEEEEE
I eat well done steak because that's how I was raised. Where my parents are from, if you don't cook the steak all the way, you risk getting some tropical parasites.
People get all up in my @ss over it, but I eat what I eat :|
medium is actually better than medium rare cos it saves you n the restaurant chefs the trouble of sending it back for being too rare
anyone that actually wants a medium rare steak should have no problem with this
why don't you clowns go get your steak well done just in case any pink shows up on your steak
Medium is all pink. Medium rare is a little bit of rare, but some chefs interpert that as "Mostly red with a little bit of pink".
I'd rather get all pink and no red, then mostly red.
my post is a troll. you should be eating your steak medium rare/rare
i just found it weird that somebody that prefers medium would say "mediums better because if you get medium rare you have to tell the cook to cook it again because its too rare"
if that was an issue for you, medium rare should've probably never been an option in your mind
I never said Medium Rare wasn't an option. Pink throughout with a red center is the best quality steak possible. However most of the time when you order Medium Rare is comes out Rare or Medium, so I'd rather other a steak Medium and get completely pink over completely red.
