Bamf I'm so glad you had a good experience in Japan. I have the opportunity to do that next summer. I'd go there for 2 months in a family stay, then their college student would stay with us. I'm seriously considering it. It's to see the Urban development issues and how they have been dealt with in Japan.

I did! I can't believe how quickly it passed...am now in my final semester back home and will graduate in December. As for life after the Tsunami...I lived in Kyoto, which is considerably farther south from where the disastrous Earthquake/Subsequent Tsunami happened, so everything was fine where I was. From what I understand, the areas up north are still trying to recover, but are making some progress.

Just finished my semester today! End of next week, I go home. I'll miss Japan but definitely excited to go back to Texas :D!!!
