  • A game mode where every kill/death is given a source.
  • ex:
  • Granny: "Weed, the mafia, has felt the wrath of the Granny."
  • Mafia: "sonseray, the villager, has been eliminated by the mafia."
  • Killer: "Super, the cop, has been violently murdered by the Killer."
  • Lynch: "StriderStyle, the fool, has been hanged by the village."
  • Bomb: "Gingy, the thief, has exploded into bits."
  • Mason (mismason): "Nolder, the mason, has become a martyr."
  • Cult (follower): "DaMirrorLink, the cultist, has committed ritual suicide."
  • Cult (masoned): "gokudera, the cultist, has been purged from the land."
  • Gun: "gordongriest, the doctor, has suffered a fatal gunshot wound."
  • Hunter: "lucidrains, the oracle, has become the Hunter's prey."
  • Vigilante: "Riotkiller14, the tracker, has felt the hand of justice."
  • Yakuza: "TheWorst, the yakuza, has sacrificed himself for the sake of the mafia."
  • Witch: "khizar, the villager, has been cursed by a fatal spell."
  • Bodyguard (Save): "magickid930, the bodyguard, has sacrificed himself for the safety of another."
  • Bodyguard (Kill): "magickid930, the mafia, has been defeated by the Bodyguard."
  • Werewolf: "magickid930, the villager, has been completely devoured by the Werewolf."
  • Priest: "Reddi, the werewolf, has been exorcised by the Priest."
  • Baker: "Reddi, the villager, has died of starvation."
  • Host: "The tribe has spoken! Reddi has been eliminated."
  • Jailer: "Reddi, the villager, has died behind cold steel bars."
  • Samurai: "Reddi, the cult, was sliced in half by the Samurai."
  • If a person is janned, the message would still show them as missing.
  • Should someone die in multiple ways, the message would show all causes of death.
  • =Feel free to come up with new/better death messages for each role, I will add them to this list.=
  • =Coroner sounds like a good name, if this does become a role. If it were put into place it should be as follows:=
  • While alive, the cause of death for each player is revealed to the village.
  • Sided with the village.

I don't think it would work. Take no-reveal setups or ones with ams, mimics, etc.
You would be able to tell if you murdered the killer or whoever, so it wouldn't leave as much of a challenge.
It would work only in reveal setups with no roles that can change.

I agree with Jumpy. Although, I don't know what the name would be. Autopsier? Is that even a word?
Also, for deaths due to Bodyguard:
"magickid930, the bodyguard, has sacrificed himself for the safety of another."
AND
"magickid930, the mafia, has been defeated by the Bodyguard."

And for Werewolf:
"magickid930, the villager, has been completely devoured by the Werewolf."
