I love this role, it really should be created - I'd much prefer this than the Confused Cop (and judging by the votes, so would a lot of people).

love the idea! I can see how this could create great scenarios instead of people just cc cop or without the cop revealed the could claim that the cop is a clumsy cop and that they got the report Which enables them of accusing people without having to fear beeing killed by the mafia (good for lyncher for example)

I was about to say, needs to appear as sane cop to self, but that doesnt work with the "needs to investigate" thing.

Needs to have to investigate EVERY NIGHT. If he didn't, he could just prevent giving reports. And not the same player every time. Overall, good idea.

He appears as cop, I presume? If that is the case there is no need for a counter-cop role. There is a possibility that hooker/drunk/nurse was on them. Bah all these cop roles.

SHOULD NOT BE RANDOM. Cop should choose who to send the report to. I love roles like that.

-investigates normally and gets reports normally
-50% chance a random village-aligned role will receive the report instead
-clumsy cop wont receive the report if this happens
-each report is independently randomized, so cop could not receive his report 3 days in a row if he's lucky (or rather unlucky)

Yes. Something of that nature. It's a good role, but can be catastrophic... :P

ALSO: if he doesn't get the report, obviously, he is clumsy, and won't investigate.
So make it to where he, as well as someone else, both get it.

So like A cop who switches other cop like roles reports?

It's going to need a counter-cop role.
Like Naive cop has paranoid cop
And Sane Cop has INsane cop.

How about if the person who recieved the report was lynch then the Clumsy Cop dies instead, or something of that jist. (Like the CCop's clumsiness potentionally killed someone and he was to recieve the punishment instead etc.)

The randomness is what makes Clumsy Cop what it is. The random reports can change a game in seconds. And I understand your trying to make the role more fun, but some sugestions just don't really make sense of what the original role portrays. You can continue making more suggestions and I Do look at these suggestions, Its jus that I haven't really seen one that catches my attention.

Investigation on n1 is already random enough. Yet you want to make it even MORE random, by assigning the report to a random person (possibly mafia?). No thanks.

That kinda defeats the purpose of the role, he isn't supossed to get any report at all, others are supposed to get his reports instead.

75% chance someone else gets a cop report
25% chance the cop get a (insane,watcher,tracker,cop, etc. report) because he is clusmsy

It should be a 50/50 thing. Half the time someone else gets his report and the other half the time the person he investigates finds out that he investigated them!

I'm not too sure how this appearance thing is going to work out. If he appears as normal cop to self then by d1 he'll know he's clumsy. Unless you have like hooker in the setup then it could be a bit more interesting. Also the appearing as cop when dead would be more exciting too, I'll think about it.
