Pictomancer
  • -Each night, she can choose to sketch a living portrait of a player.
  • -If the sketched player is a power role, their own PR will be used on themselves as well as their original target, if possible.
  • -Does not apply to mafia kills.
  • -Cannot sketch the same person twice.
  • -Sided with the town.
  • Clarifications: For example, if a Pictomancer sketches a cop, the cop will receive reports for both himself and his target (useful for determining sanity). Blacksmith will vest himself and his target. Vigil/Killer will kill himself and his target.
  • It's a powerful role, but also dangerous. If a Pictomancer sketches an Interceptor for example, they'll end up killing themselves because Interceptor will intercept himself. Useful mafia roles (like lawyer) will also be enhanced when a Pictomancer sketches them. Sketched anarchist gets two bombs to pass around...you get the idea.

I'm fine with a name change as long as it fits what the role does (not just 'Artist'). Not sure why 'Pictomancer' is supposedly all weeaboo though, it's based on ancient Greek, just like 'Necromancer'.

@Annai That's part of the risk, she's town but needs to be careful. Picto is less of a menace to town than trigger-happy vigils are, anyway.

Also, EM has enough silly third-party roles with dumb win conditions, Pictomancer is town-sided.

I think Lucid can think up something for driver, it's just one role and there are many ways it could be handled. Shouldn't be a problem.

for driving someone, driver would be like a third person, and have a three way rotation, where actions done on the first person affect the second, actions done on the second will be done on the driver, and actions done on the driver will be done on the first target.

I'm also not sure what should be done about sketched killing roles, it's another thing that can really screw up the killer. Maybe make it chance-based for the sketched kill to go through? Also I just realized how hilarious this role can be, imagine sketching a janitor on night one, or a vodoo lady... this role needs to happen.

I was thinking about the issue of sketched driver and I think... nothing should happen. Look at it this way: Technically, the sketched person would use their meeting on themselves in addition to the original target. Driver has 2 people to choose, sketched one would have another meeting where he chooses himself twice... therefore driving himself with himself, doing nothing. That way it's consistent and saves lucid some work.
