- When creating a setup, one can choose to have nomination voting as opposed to normal voting.
- Rather than everyone voting for whoever they believe is mafia, anyone has the option at any point to nominate one person to be lynched. If one other person in the game approves the nomination, the nominee is then given one minute to convince everyone not to vote for them (optional: their text is bold or similar to stand out during this time/they can choose to end this time early), after which everyone votes whether or not they wish to lynch this person. If the majority approve, the player is lynched. If not, they remain alive and game returns to as before.
- Essentially means a player must have the majority of the other players voting for them to die, rather than just being the only one with 3 rather than 2 or similar; as well as giving them more of a chance to defend themselves. Inspired by real life Mafia, where this is much easier to implement and works well.
