But pretty much, people will try to make sure war demon doesnt die, and could even play like the "fool" role and get themselves lynched on purpose to protect real war demon. pretty much, the war demon has to survive 4 days. 4/24(since he kills one) gives him a 1/6 chance of town actually getting him. But of course town won't really follow 100% well either. And in all honesty, it will probably be best to make a rl bw than letting town get fooled.

I'm changing it. War Demon can only recruit 2 people from now on, and cannot kill n1.

so with 8 towns, 1 war demon, on d1 there will be 5 towns and 4 "evil players." In hopes of not a force mislynch being made or ml a "good player," either town gets lucky by killing war demon or needs to get an "evil player." So lets say they got an evil player, because odds are good. that makes 5 towns and 3 evil players. d2 there will be 2 towns and 6 evil players. basically need to force nl if the game didn't decide to end already. and thats if war demon decided to nk. which is silly, because actually, on d1, war demon had to recruit 3 players plus kill one person, force nl if not won already, and just get all players.

Lets say if there was a 25 person set up. and lets say town gets lucky and kills an evil player every day. n1-1evil 24 good, d1 4 evil, 20 good(including the 1 kill by war demon), on d2 town kills evil, (following similar chain of events) so n2-3 evil, 20 good, d2-6 evil, 16 good, n3-5evil 16good, d4-8evil 12 good players, n5-7evil, 12 good, 10 evil 8 evil.

Problems:

2. How many players will be needed for this role? 8 townies and 1 war demon. Oops. Autowin.

this is too OP and there's too much potential for meta to the point of cheating. i dont think it could ever be used in ranked. could be fun for unranked in sandbox i guess, but it seems really unbalanced

this is kinda silly. needs to be fixed for mafia. plus, we will need big party set ups just for the role to play and not be too OP.

awesome role i think it has a lot of potential but needs a few tweaks

No, in a war demon game, instead of the mafia and the village, there is a good side and an evil side, this was intended. the war demon is basically a non dying yakuza and the evil players are basically traitors. i think this role has amazing potential and I hope to see it feature in ranked setups in the near future.

Very interesting idea, but it can get too up sometimes, but still a good idea, especialy that dark side players keep their roles. But still, too OP, requires lots of ppl for its setup and kinda hard to understand whats going on. So basicly not good :(
