It is in town's best interest to keep all power roles hidden as mafia have full setup knowledge from night one, as their roles correspond to the setup in play. A hidden power role has full power as the mafia's secondary role is always 'useless'. Town is never left without some sort of aid but mafia will know how many power roles there are. If there's only one, they are sure to die if revealed!
