I'm not saying the plot is necessarily bad, I just don't like how it has gone so far. The premise could've been OK, if not quite as deep as it seemed to believe itself to be, but I hated most of the characters and the way it tried to develop them in episode 2 -- surely "show, don't tell" applies to TV shows too -- and the direction it was going at the time I dropped it was disappointing to me. I also generally didn't like either the tone or the humor much so far, personally, so I stopped watching. I forget what specifically ANNOYED me, but w/e.
I guess it could turn out to be more appealing later on, but I decided it's not worth watching to find out. It could be different for other people! I hope I explained myself decently and that I'm not causing your :( to deepen into a :C or anything. :P
It's not bad because it's by Trigger, it's bad because Okada is the director. She always offers up some semi interesting show then ruins it with way too much exposition. Watch Gundam: IBO to see what I mean, way more talking than what is needed.

Idk, I think it's a bit too early to say that the plot is bad, and even now I wouldn't call it bad. I think Kiznaiver could have something going for it, depending on how the next few episodes play out.
I still think it has some funny moments. I'm standing by that. :(
Kiznaiver is pretty terrible, the animation gives me horrifying flashbacks of KLK which was atrocious and the plot mirrors that of an American network television show that'd get cancelled 4 episodes in.
I started watching bungou stray dogs a while ago and liked it but I haven't caught up with anything but Kabaneri and I don't know if it's really good or not.
