My prediction:
> rickon killed by ramsay > jon becomes king of north by defeating ramsay > bran has vision that jon's mother is lyenna > uncle benjen rescues bran and meera then accompanies them back to the wall > arya refuses to kill actress and then kills the waif to flee bravos > tommen suicides > the hound battles Thoros of Myr 1 on 1 and wins > Qyburn kills Pycelle > Cersei refused trial by combat then The Mountain kills a bunch of sparrows > Brienne goes inside Riverrun to meet w. the Blackfish > Jamie forces Edmure Tully to surrender Riverrun
bran has another dumb vision (jon's parents) arya crosses 3 names of her dumb list the hound beats up thoros qyburn has his spy kids kill pycelle cersei uses wildfire to burn the place down tommen jumps out of a window to kill himself haha
Loved the episode, despite being a bit predictable. The direction was amazing!
I agree that Sansa just thought Jon would lead everyone into a trap, had he known about Littlefinger. Maybe not the smartest move ever, and definitely deserves a conversation next episode (maybe that "trust" convo in the promo?), but understandable, I think.
ramsay was using rickon as bait to bring jon close enough to shoot him with the arrow? cuz that would have been a pretty brutal twist but nah he wasted two good opportunities to kill that dumb*ss
My brother and I were actually waiting for Jon to get shot, but Rickon is so irrelevant at this point, the only thing that kept him interesting was that he was a Stark.
dany's dragons won again and jon got saved at the last moment again but it was a good episode, the battle was cool and john completely falling into ramsay's trap was nice. now for next week and cersei burning kings landing to the ground.. can't wait but also how the is she controlling her dragons and telling them where to go?? telepathy?
I heard Dany say something to Drogon and he started breathing fire. So maybe she has commands or they're just so smart they can read the situation.

I don't watch premiere on HBO at 1am. I watch GoT online and when I read the comments, I always see "Thank you, good man who publishes these episodes!"
also it's pretty unpredictable, if you ask me. there were many moments when i thought jon might actually die, or really, any of them might. it was a relief that only wun wun died.
the sheer amount of luck that allowed jon to survive is what we're supposed to take away from that glimpse of the chaotic nature of true warfare. no one is going to make it out alive without being extremely fortunate. jon just happened to dodge all those arrows that fell down around him. is the Red God protecting him?
i don't think it matters. the reality is that he survived insurmountable odds, but just barely. that's what war really is: a hell from which only those with 'divine' luck happen to escape from
i can defend rickon not zig-zagging. it was actually very deliberately set up by ramsay.
first, note the burning flayed men stakes act as wind and distance markers. this is a carefully laid out battlefield for ramsay.
next, look carefully at how he fires his first arrows at rickon. they are intentionally way off the mark. when he fires the second arrow, he actually turns away from his aiming, to look at his archer and smirk.
basically, he's giving rickon a false sense of hope that ramsay isn't as good at archery as he actually is, and u can see rickon looks at where those first two arrows fall.
by the time rickon is halfway through the field, ramsay goes for the final shot, which is shown with a closeup of him looking precisely down the line of sight of the arrow's head. this is the only shot ramsay needed, and he basically baits rickon into running straight for jon, because rickon thinks he can make it to jon if he just goes quickly enough.
so does jon, and thus jon gets trapped in a hail of arrows and has to advance into certain death.
