i think as on-release Civ games go, it's absolutely fantastic. i needs some quality of life fixes bad as well as some rebalances to production values and yeah an AI tweak. but Civ V got meh reviews on release and then things only went up as patches/expansions came out. same thing happened with Beyond Earth to a lesser extent. based on Firaxis' track record of improving games post-release, im optimistic.

What do you guys think about civ VI?
Always loved the series. However civ V didn't grow as much on me as civ IV did. I'm reading very mixed reviews on steam, although the biggest complain seems to be the AI.
