really, deep down, this is all just an experiment to boost site activity by making people argue all day instead of leaving so the plan is more people will get caught in the trap and consequently epicmafia will have more cumulative visitors

maybe a better solution would be to have filters in user settings that determine which posts you want to see
or a mute words function like on twitter?? "automatically hide the content of posts with this word in it" kind of thing

there's normal people who might get worked up situationally and respond in kind
and there's thick skinned people who don't have souls and usually just shltpost as their only means of communication with normal people
