We unlocked 90% of fighters through smash mode with 3 friends, and we won about 3/4 of battles first try, but the difficulty didnt seem to rise, more like it's totally random

for example we finished with palutena and she was easy as hell, but cloud and bowser beat us twice before we managed to get them

Yeah some spirits are really tough, dem 4 star ones oof. And idk if it's just me but the characters to unlock seem to be getting more difficult to beat each time? (via smash mode not word of life tho)

The CPU's when you get an opportunity to unlock someone that's outside of World of Light are extremely tough. Granted the only one I've lost to so far is Ridley because of the stupid stage but man I've had some scares.

This game is fking incredible

I played it quite a bit this morning, seems to be more responsive than before, especially slow characters like zelda. Like it a lot so far.

PvE is actually harder than previous games, the AI is more vicious and doesnt just parry everything you do. Some world of light 3 star spirit battle were really tough. Testing PvP this afternoon

I'm a really casual player so tell me if I'm wrong.

I feel like a lot more fighting is going to take place in the air, and I feel like there are more options for aerial maneuverability thanks to directional air dodges. Not to mention it got easier to Neutral A hop ;)
