this is the log from that game denial linked & it's pretty helpful to see possible roles and stuff

someone correct me if i'm wrong but basically everyone has certain abilities that say nothing on their alignment - so there can be someone with cop/investigative ability who is mafsided

There can be 2 Millers, 2 cops, 2 docs but no people have like the same exact card and roles

Roles can have day actions

Each role is not necessarily unique, however no two roles have the exact same abilities, that being said I want to say specifically to denial that two people could have a role equating to doctor (just using ur example) could be a different role but it’s not like one person claims doc and no one else can be doc

posted a link to it in an earlier post, but i based it off the previous incarnation of this forum mafia (which this one is heavily based on)

there was a miller, and soda said that millers should claim day 1(which does seem to be the preferred method), because he wouldn't have lynched somebody had he known there was a miller out there

and yes, in that game there were several different day 1 actions

this may or may not apply to this game

there won't technically be cc's since the game is open to all roles, but if somebody else claims doc and you're doc... its probably not likely that town has 2 docs in this setup

A daily reminder of the goals of Mafia and Town. This applies to normal EpicMafia games as well,

Mafia tries to gather a target to lynch based off of either early reads, or randomly, and then uses further evidence that may or may not work.

Town tries to gather reads, and when sufficient reads are gathered, decides who they want to lynch until further evidence/discussion tells them to do otherwise.

As of right now, I sr multiple people. htennis, happeh, and mw+LP combo come to mind as potential maf.

@Birbtales I have 2 questions for you

Is it possible for a role to have a day action?

Is it possible for roles to have ccs or is each role individually unique?

Really confused here. Aren't we all power roles? Denial explain this outside info you have on Miller role.

You're likely not going to get cced, but it's more of a if we have two investigative roles, it makes a little more sense if theres a Miller

Plus cop not checking you and pushing on you because of a report/etc

I'll park my vote on happeh, since I think arrogate/pony is imo town nlmote often than maf here

Lol thats funny. I was actually multitasking while I was making the reads and I guess I was going back and forth in my head between elfen and arogate and when i wrote i was leaning elfen some time passed before i finished the paragraph. That is why that post is edited because I removed goodfrog as a potential kill target and added a line on him and chose my vote. I like that you caught that tho.

Denial: Towny line form Denial “k carmen keep trolling and I won't care enough to try to save you when people vote you for being annoying”. Denial likes to complain I’ve learned.

I think we lynch between Arogate and Elfen. I am leaning elfen. I know I scumread goodfrog but he started trying later but i still dont like him. That being said VOTE AROGATE

Shady: shady calls me and ghost out for trying to fake town slip which is untrue since i know my alignment but its a good thing to point out as town however if there was mafia between me and ghost i believe i asked this first and if ghost is mafia she would just be copying me. Shadys lines this game were actually very towny and i have a hard time believing he is mafia so im not gonna give anymore content on him today.

Elfen: “denial seems to be trying really hard, harder than he would try if he was mafia.” I disagree i think he would tryhard as both alignments. Elfen comes in very strong for no reason begging mw for his reads instead of just looking to see how he could have made those reads at least he gave reads. Very scummy.

LesbianPirate: stop asking people to claim if u keep doing these u will be policed in later days. Asking people to claim unnecessarily is super scummy


Arrogate: Super scummy line from Arrogate “I mean, I don't think we should be having people claim here as soon as the day starts. Why would you say you don't like the three votes then still want him to claim? Kinda scummy if you ask me…” He is saying this in regards to Lesbian asking denial to claim. This is actually the first line he had this game and he starts off by hardscum reading Lesbian for wanting denail to out which is polar opposite to happens towny repsonse asking why she wants insta claims so fast. It seems like an EASY opportunity read for him and I scumread him for it. After this line he says some basic as.s stuff and says he wants to lynch Happeh, goodfrog or Ghost13 like he has some hard scumreads. Another problem line “honestly that just doesn't sit right to me idk, it seems weird, can I get someone else's thought on that” His stance on the game is bascially that he thinks everyone someone says is strange.

My reads
TownOfSalemRox: Honestly Town is always town just for this line “k i have to sleep and i thought htennis would at least ask why i was voting him but no one is playing” on page 5. As mafia Town wouldn’t care about unvoting htennis their and would prob wait until he woke back up to see what htennis response would be.

Htennis: Literally no read lmao


Carmen: caremns reads are sorta good however I disagree with some of it but i can see how she managed to get to those reads. However I don’t like this line “my top 2 foses are ghost and htennis, and looking back theyve had 0 interaction”. However I like how she actually gave her reads instead of continuing to troll. Prob wouldn’t lynch today.


Ghost: “wait so is this daystart or smth where nobody knows anything or does mafia know other mafias” could be wifom but i was thinking the same thing so I wouldn’t lynch

Goodfrog: goodfrog said this line which is really weird “thank u for making It very clear that htennis is guilty, but u can be para/insane” in regards to townofsalem voting htennis. I think he might have just slipped that htennis is his partner because Town wasn’t even hard pushing on him he just voted him and instantly unvoted. Honestly goodfrog is just trolling and its hard for me to view goodfrog trolling as town. Another line “if mom votes denial, I vote denial… vote denial“ He voted denial just because Happen did after Happen’s garbage read.


Mw295: I pinged him out and he responded with “#gottem thx mouths” which is SUPER awkward. When he first gave his reads I somewhat see where he’s coming from. He then gave his reads later when pinged out by elfen and I agree with them. He is prob town.
