I agree completely under normal circumstances. The one flaw with your "shrink dies so that gives town a clear" theory is that shrink self-shrunk. Once town didn't have a clear, it was correct for you to claim. The problem is that your chain of logic, while true in general, does not apply to the specific game we were in for that reason.
